As spring approaches, there’s no better way to refresh your home than with light, airy decor that evokes the season’s freshness. This spring, I’ve embraced a charming blue and white color scheme that perfectly suits the cozy cottage vibe I love. I started by giving my front porch a fresh look. This year, I took a bold step and decided to forgo the traditional wreath, embracing a more minimalist style. Our wide porch features a pair of Adirondack gliders, where we enjoy the sights and sounds of the season, from birds fluttering around the birdhouse to the peaceful ambiance.

The gliders, which were originally stained, were painted white to match the cottage theme I’m aiming for. I added a couple of blue and white outdoor rugs along with some decorative pillows to make the area feel inviting and cozy for conversation.
